I don't think the Queen should be Australia's head of state but for some reason I really fancy a Wills & Kate tea towel. Here's my royal memorabilia story for The Inside Source. (pic via blog de lottie)

It's my Vogue Living cover story! Kiane Von Mueffling's apartment is beautiful. A funny thing happened: I was getting a pedicure and reading an old issue of marie claire and there was Kiane. You know when you see someone outside of the context you met them - it's always odd. She was in a story about fashionable Australians in New York. Read more.

I came out of the Facebook movie, The Social Network, a tad giddy. It was a great ride. I loved those Winklevoss twins! Then a day later I was furious at the depiction of women. I went online and found others also thought it was an incredibly sexist film (cheers, Jezebel). That was the beginning of this essay, A Man's Domain. Read more.

Matt Damon was so tired during this interview. He yawned and yawned and yawned. He had a newborn daughter at home. She joins three older sisters in the Damon household. Matt was a trooper. I'd read other interviews that said he was a tough subject but he really wasn't. Read here.

On the walk from my sons' school to Trader Joe's, I would pass the Flavor Paper HQ and always look inside. It is the most amazing building with the Flavor Paper name in neon. I went home and Googled, then pitched the building and wallpaper business to Vogue Living. My editors went for it. I met proprietor Jon Sherman and he was so lovely. Thank you, Jon.

My story on How To Shop Vintage was the most viewed on The Style Glossy last year. I don't know if it was my story or just that vintage is incredibly popular. Vintage is smart too. Have you seen the piles of clothing offloaded to the third world or in landfill? There's so much stuff in the world. Let's re-use it. Especially the fabulous stuff. Many thanks to Alyce Moschini of The Vintage Valley and Beth Armstrong of The Travelling Dress (the pics above are from The Travelling Dress).

I’m a big fan of Los Angeles-based style forecaster Linlee Allen’s blog, DeLinlee Delovely and was stoked to interview her for eBay’s The Inside Source. I met Linlee in Sydney in the `90s when she did her StyleByte email. My, how our wired world has changed! Read the interview here.
